Crochet hook:

  • 3.75 mm / F-5 (4.25 mm / G-6) crochet hook. Instructions for both sizes are the same (except for ribbed bands), but make size S/M with 3.75 mm / F-5 hook and size L/XL/2X with 4.25 mm / G-6 crochet hook.


Recommended materials:

  • Worsted / #4 weight yarn. Shown here Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted Yarn (110 yds / 100.6 m / 50 g), 12 (13) skeins / 600 (640) g / 21.2 (22.6) oz / 1320 (1410) yards in Dove Heather (color A) and 5 (6) skeins / 235 (255) g / 8.2 (9) oz / 412 (561) yards in Seraphim (color B). This yarn though labeled Worsted can be considered #3 / DK / Light Worsted weight.

  • Tapestry needle, pins.


Sizes:

  • S/M (L/XL/2X) / 86/96 (106/117/127) cm / 34/38 (41 ¾/46/50)'' bust circumference.

  • Model is size Medium / M / 37 3/8'' / 95 cm bust circumference, wears size S/M.


Gauge:

  • Square motif side is 16.5 (18) cm / 6 ½ (7)'' made with 3.75 mm / F-5 (4.25 mm / G-6) crochet hook.

  • Half double crochet rib stitch: 10 cm x 10 cm / 4'' x 4'' = 12 rows x 19 sts (11.5 rows x 17 sts) made with 3.75 mm / F-5 (4.25 mm / G-6) crochet hook.
