Colors become muted when midsummer hits, but it's my favorite time when nature is starting to give us her fruits. 
Fiber jewelry feels soft on your skin and doesn’t get in the way during your daily adventures.  

 

Crochet level:

• Easy/Intermediate.

 

You should know how to crochet following stitches:

• ch (chain), sl st (slip stitch), sc (single crochet), hdc (half double crochet), puff (puff stitch, or learn in the process).

 

This pattern includes:

• Written instructions.

Crochet hook:

• 1 mm and 1.4 mm (for Homestead or other size 10 yarn); 1.4 mm for Knit Picks Curio yarn.

 

Recommended materials:

• Choice 1: Knit Picks Curio yarn (100% cotton, lace weight, 100 g / 721 yds), 1 ball in each Cornmeal, Mongoose, Spearmint, Comfrey colors. You'll use a little amount of each.

• Choice 2: Halcyon Yarn Homestead 8/2 Cotton Yarn (100% unmercerized cotton, lace weight, slightly thicker than size 10 crochet thread), 1 mini-cone (approx 600 yards / 549 m / 3 oz / 84 g) in each 18 Light Brown, 11 Special Green, 20 Dark Brown, 64 Grape colors or size 10 cotton thread in 4 desired colors.

• ½'' (1.2 cm) in diameter button for the bracelet (optional, you can crochet the button, instructions are provided).

• About 19'' (50 cm) of round (for beading) elastic cord.

 

Size:

• Bracelet is 7 ½'' (19 cm) long.

• Headband fits all sizes.

• Headband is 13'' (33 cm) long, elastic cord is 7 ½'' (19 cm) and adjustable.

• Headband and bracelet are 2 ½'' (6.5 cm) wide.
