Hi everyone! A new pattern just dropped - let me introduce the GeoCake Scarf!

The pattern is 10-20% off October 8-14. Find all details on the pattern page.

Watch launchinng video here.

This pattern gives you versatile options:

  • Regular scarf

  • Infinity scarf with a twist - designed to lay completely flat on your shoulders, and fully customizable to any length you like.

The pattern includes clear written instructions in English using US terms, a detailed chart, and video tutorials covering the first few rows as well as how to join the infinity scarf.

Watch the video below to learn three different techniques for joining two crochet pieces together:

The styling possibilities are endless. I honestly still haven't decided how I want to wear mine - I had it as a regular scarf, then joined it into an infinity scarf, and then unraveled it again. So right now it's a scarf, but who knows for how long! :))

It was inspired by the new Scheepjes Colour Crafter Cake yarn (175g per cake). When I saw the cakes, I knew I had to use two cakes in the same colorway working from opposite ends with the double crochet tapestry technique.

I’m usually not a fan of regular double crochet because it can feel a bit gappy and shapeless, but carrying another yarn through makes the fabric look woven. I'm so excited to add this effect to my designer tool collection.

Tester: Bianca Vernaleken. Yarn: Scheepjes Colour Crafter Cake in 705 Botanical Style

Since it's a brand-new yarn, it might be tricky to find in shops right now, so ask your local store for it! In the meantime, you can easily use up stash leftovers, just like some of our testers did - it looks fabulous.

Tester: Linda Toering. Yarn: Scheepjes Colour Crafter (leftovers)

Tester: Suyan Fang. Yarn: Scheepjes Colour Crafter (leftovers)

Our wonderful testers also experimented with fantastic alternatives, including Colour Crafter Parade combined with solids.

Tester: Alison Platt. Yarn: Scheepjes Colour Crafter Parade, Colour Crafter (solid)

And Scheepjes Stone Washed Flow - another brilliant Scheepjes yarn to try.

Tester: Karen Player Summers. Yarn: Scheepjes Stone Washed Flow

Tester: Paulina Smith Maraboli

I huge shoutout to our amazing testers for their tremendous help testing this pattern!

I hope you love this one! Head over to the pattern page to check the details and grab it with early-bird perks.

Happy crocheting!

Natalia
