  • Knit Picks Wool of The Andes Worsted (light worsted, 110 yds / 100.6 m / 50 g) - affiliated link (I receive a small commission from KnitPicks at no additional cost for you. 735 (780, 830, 915, 945, 1015, 1065, 1100) g / 1617 (1716, 1892, 2013, 2079, 2233, 2343, 2420) yds /15 (16, 17, 19, 19, 21, 22, 22) skeins in Mink color.


Size:

  • Sweater fits 90 (96, 102, 108, 114, 120, 126, 132) cm / 35 3/8 (37 ¾, 40 1/8, 42 ½, 44 7/8, 47 ¼, 49 5/8, 52)'' / S-M (M-L, L, L-XL, XL-2X, 2X, 3X, 3X-4X) chest circumference.

  • Sweater measures 96 (102, 108, 114, 120, 126, 132, 138) cm / 37 ¾ (40 1/8, 42 ½, 44 7/8, 47 ¼, 49 5/8, 52, 54 ¼)'' chest circumference, including 6 cm / 2 3/8'' positive ease.

  • Later in the pattern sizes 90 (96, 102, 108, 114, 120, 126, 132) by your chest circumference in cm.

  • Model is size M / 95 cm / 37 3/8'' bust and hips, height 5' 6'' and wears size 96 cm / 37 ¾'' / M-L.


Gauge (UK:tension):

  • Diamond stitch, herringbone stitch: 18 sts x 8 rows = 9 x 9.5 cm / 3 ½ x 3 ¾''.

 

Notes:

  • Start with the collar, working in rounds with herringbone stitch.

  • Move on to the upper body, working in rounds with diamond stitch, and make increases for shoulders in every rnd.

  • Move on to the front, working in rows. Fasten off, join yarn for the back, repeat front instructions. Join front and back together and finish in rounds, making last 10 rounds with herringbone stitch.

  • Make upper sleeve with diamond stitch, join in round and finish the sleeve. Make sleeve cuff (last 10 rounds) with herringbone stitch.

  • Sew sleeves in place with mattress stitch.
