  • 220 g of fingering weight yarn (100 g / 3.5 oz / 300 m / 330 yards) in motifs color and 180 g in background color; shown here – Lithuanian 6 ply Linen Yarn from YarnStories on Etsy, 3 balls in #104 Natural Linen and 2 balls in #502 Dark Purple. Buy 3 ply (100 g / 3.5 oz / 600 m / 660 yards) and use 2 strands, one from inside and another from outside of one ball (fingering weight requires 6 ply of this yarn)

  • 10 cm (4'') cardboard or plastic canvas winding board for tassels, tapestry needle to weave in ends

  • 3.8 cm (1 ½'') 2 D-rings

  • optional: matching background color 18 beads; shown here – Bead Gallery TM Semi precious amethyst 6 mm

  • hand-sewing needle, matching motifs yarn color sewing thread
