Notes:
-
Sweater is made from top down. Start with a neck band, made in rows. Join in round upon finishing and make a yoke in rounds. Without fastening off start making back from the neck band, shaping for arm openings. Fasten off, join yarn for front and repeat instructions from the back, joining back and front parts in round after completing the front. Lock the loop and start the right sleeve from another ball. Without fastening off make and join as you go a sleeve band. Repeat instructions for the second sleeve. Pick up locked loop and make a body in rounds. Finish with a bottom band, joining as you go. Make band seams.
-
Cluster stitch stretches significantly after washing, adding about 5.5 cm / 2 ¼'' to the length of the sweater and sleeves. If you use different yarn that amount might different. Thus when you make one sleeve and before making a band it is advised to wash and tumble dry your work and estimate the length. If you use suggested yarn and follow care instructions make directed number of rows. If you decide to use different yarn, make washing test after completing one sleeve (before adding a sleeve band).
-
Excluding neck and sleeve bands all parts are made with D-3 / 3.25 mm hook. Only neck and sleeve bands are made with smaller C-2 / 2.75 mm hook.
