Review by Etsy customer: I must say I expected this design to be difficult and work about like a canvas tote bag- wrong on both! This pattern is easy even for a "strictly knit-ly" crafter like myself, and it works way better than any tote I've ever used. It can fit an AMAZING amount of stuff no matter what size yarn you use (I've made one out of the recommended lace/ fingering weight and one out of sport weight using the same 2.75mm hook for both) I love using it when I'm buying boxes or awkward shaped items that typically tear plastic bags. Add a little piping into the handle as you sew it and it's a miracle tote (I'm short, if handles stretch they hit my knees and shins haha) Following the pattern as written, you can fit about 3-4 plastic bags worth of stuff in one Market Bag. I. Love. This. Pattern.
