This long necklace is perfect for summer adventures! Wrap it 5 or 6 times and it becomes a bracelet. Experiment with different charms and beads and make a few for your loved ones!

 

Crochet level:

• Intermediate (due fine thread and small hook).

• ch (chain), sl st (slip stitch), sc (single crochet).

Recommended materials:

• Aunt Lidia's crochet thread Metallic 10 (standard size #10, 154 m / 100 yards, 88% mercerized cotton, 12% metallic).

• 6/0 size glass beads in two colors: 141 pc / 12 g in gold, 42 pc /5 g in green (shown here Czech Glass Beads, 24 g / 0.85 oz) in Gold and Peppermint.

• 6 charms (shown here Bead Landing Oceanside charms, 8 pc in package).

• Fabric glue.

• Crochet hook 1 mm or smaller (to go through beads).

• Tapestry needle.

• Soft T-shirt (optional).

 

Size:

• Necklace is 41'' (104 cm) long when not stretched.

• Wrapped 5 times necklace can be worn as a bracelet and is about 8 ¼'' (21 cm long), wrapped 6 times – 6 5/8'' (17 cm) long.
