You should know how to crochet following stitches: 

• ch (chain), sl st (slip stitch), sc (single crochet), dc (double crochet),tr (treble crochet), ttr (triple treble), quadtr (quadruple treble - yo 5 times).

 

This pattern includes:

Crochet hook: 

• 3.5 mm / E-4.

 

Recommended materials: 

• Worsted / #4 weight yarn (100 g / 235 yds / 215 m): 60 (70, 80) g / 142 (165, 189) yds each in 5 colors: green, brown, dark red, blue, yellow, and 150 (170, 190) g / 353 (400, 448) yds in dark purple color.

• Shown here: Halcyon Yarn Homestead 8/2 Cotton (100% unmercerized cotton, #1 / lace weight, 645 m / 705 yards / 100 g / 3.5 oz), tripled for worsted weight: 1 (1, 1) mini-cone (85 g / 600 yards) each in Special Green, Light Brown, Wine, Dark Turquoise, Old Gold colors, and 2 (2-3, 3) mini-cones in Grape color. Please, note, 1 lp / 454 g cone of the same yarn costs cheaper than 3 mini-cones.

• Tapestry needle.

 

Sizes:

• The top is over-sized fit (big positive ease). Sizes: 105 (126, 147) cm / 41 ¼ (49 ½, 57 ¾)'' bust circumference. For best result choose size with 10 - 30 cm / 4 - 11 ¾'' positive ease.

• Offered sizes will fit sizes Small/Medium (Medium/Large, Extra Large/Extra Extra Large) / 86.5 - 96.5 (96.5 - 106,5, 117 - 127) cm / 34 - 38 (38 - 42, 46 - 50)'' bust circumference.

• Later in the pattern sizes S/M (M/L, 1X/2X).

• Model is size medium / 96 cm / 37 ¾'' bust circumference, height 5' 6''; wears size 126 cm / 49 ½'' (positive ease 30 cm / 11 ¾'').

 

Gauge: 

• Motif is 10.5 cm / 4 1/8'' circumference, made with 3.5 mm / E-4 hook. Center of motif (rnds 1 – 3, made out of different colors yarn) is 8.5 cm / 3 5/16'' circumference.
